VISTOR.IA is operated by Visivia. This page explains what we record, why, and what you can ask of us.
The free check
To run a free check we ask for your name, email and phone. We record them with the address checked, the time and the result of the six tests. If we refuse a check because your email, phone or browser already used the free check, or because that website was being checked at that moment, we still record what you typed, the address and the reason. We use them to keep the free check to one per person, to confirm that you asked for it and to contact you about the result of the check you asked for; you can ask us to stop at any time. We only send you other tips or offers if you tick the box for that and then confirm the request, as described below. If a website was already checked for free, you get that earlier result instead of a new check. These details are not verified when you send them: if someone used yours, write to us and we will erase them. We do not record your IP address. To stop abuse, our hosting provider counts checks, orders and visits to confirmation links per connection for one minute; that count is not stored by us.
The check reads the public home page of the address you typed, the way any visitor's browser would. We don't store contact details we see on that page, with one exception: if a phone number there is a link that goes nowhere, the result quotes that number so it can be found and fixed.
Confirming a free check
We may send you a message, to the email or phone you gave, with a link that asks whether you requested the check. The page it opens shows only the website, not your email or phone. Each link works once and expires 72 hours after we create it. For each link we store an identifier and a one-way fingerprint (a hash) of its secret part, never the secret itself, with its expiry time; then your answer, yes or no, and when you gave it. If you answer yes, your details count as confirmed. If you answer no, we will not contact you again, no tips or offers are sent, and the record waits for us to erase it by hand.
Erasing (the step we call Release and erase) removes your name, email and phone from that record and from refused attempts that used exactly the same email or phone, and cancels any open confirmation link. After that, your email and phone can be used for a free check again. Everything else stays, including the website, the dates, any answer to a confirmation link and the result of the check. These can still identify you: for example, when the website's address or title includes your name, or when the result quotes your phone number.
Orders
When you order the full inspection we record what you type in the form: website, business name, what you sell, where you serve, your name, email, and optionally your business location addresses, phone and notes. We use them only to produce and deliver your report and to talk to you about it. We use each business address as the centre of a 10 km competitor comparison.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe on its own secure page. We never see or store your card details. From Stripe we keep only the payment status, the amount, the currency and an identifier of the payment.
Cookies
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary: one that remembers, for 30 days, that this browser already used its free check, and one that keeps you signed in to your private report after you enter your password. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may collect aggregated traffic statistics without cookies.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare: hosting and the database of this site.
- Stripe: payments.
How long we keep it, and your rights
We keep order records while they are needed to deliver the service and to meet legal obligations. You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your data by writing to contato@visivia.com.br.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page will show the new version and its date.
